Hate to say it folks, but we mandate that. We want it better, cheaper, faster. Corps have to make a buck to survive (and pay the high execs)so whatever it costs to mfgr, the profit will be added. So they just go for the lowest core price and the final talley is somewhat affordable for WE THE CONSUMER. Even though it's mfgr'd overseas, there is still a ton of money to be made here in indirect costs: sales, shipping, storage, repairs, aftermarket, adm costs. Now I will give you that the mfg. jobs usually bring the biggest pay checks for the masses.
