HELP WITH ALTERNATOR

can anyone please tell me what wire connections I need to make to hook up my alternator to my 1957 case 300. It is a 12-volt system and I am wiring a oil/water temp/volt gauge up with it because my old gauges do not work. I bought the gauges at a local parts store and they hook up well with everything, I just dont know how to wire the alternator up to the switch key/volt gauge/alternator. thanks for any help.
