We recently ( 2 years ago) purchased a new JD 4600 , and just love it! The engine and front the axle are made by Yanmar, the dealer told me that when I asked. JD is the only dealer within 100 miles of where we keep the tractor so it was a logical choice. They have treated us very well during price negotiations and ever since. This tractor is rated at 37hp PTO and has much more power than a IH 340 U, which was about 34 PTO, granted the 340 was a little tired, but It ran very well and I was happy with it until we bought JD!
