MH Pony... Woods mower setup

I have a Pony I've been working on, getting it ready for the purchase of a Woods mower. When I bought the tractor, I got a belly sickle mower with it. It has this long heavy housing that mounts to the bottom of the tractor. One end has a v-belt pulley that lines up with the v-belt that adapts to the pto shaft. My question is, Is this same housing necessary for the Woods mower, or do I need a whole different setup?? I have the manual lift setup coming from a guy in Texas.
