Loader Attachments

Are attachments to loaders standardized like three point implements are? I see the local MFA has a bale spike that has four pins. I suspect it's for a front end loaded. But I wonder if it will fit my neighbors mahindra. The local mahindra dealer wants $500 for a bales spike. Is this reasonable? I need to pick up 50+ logs and load them on a trailer. Bale spike seems to be one of my better options. Mahindra dealer wants $1300 for pallet forks.
