For my money I'd look long at hard at something bigger than the TO, and diesel. My bias is toward the 5600-7710 series Fords but the gears are pretty high for what you are talking unless you finde a 12x3 creeper transmission option. Case DB's have 12 speed trans. with lots of low gears, diesel, econmical operation, and plenty of weight for the size. I'm a long way from an IH or JD expert so cant speak to those models. I know where a couple are within a 1/2 days drive of you, email is unmasked if interested.
