Ron, if you are in Western Washington, your best bet is to check the Little Nickel (it's online at http://www.virtualclassifieds.net). Around here a 8N Ford is going to go for between $2500 and $4000. I would suggest looking for something more like a International 300 Utility or 350 Utility. There's quite a few 300U's around here, and they generally sell for a little less than a 8N but are much more capable, with independent PTO, live hydraulics and more power. I'm an IH man, so I can't really help you on other makes, but I'm sure you will get responses telling you which JD or Allis or etc to look for. A Massey 135 would be a good choice, as Pitch mentioned. Good luck to you.
