That is my gut feeling also, that its too much disc. The disc has a row of notched blades and a set of round. All the blades are new. The disc is in great shape. We have considered buying it and cutting it down smaller. What do you guys think? Or maybe I should look for a smaller disc. I have sandy loam soil. He is asking $500. Its a JD disc, with large cutting blades. Maybe 16" dia?
