Our departments us a canvas type of drop tank {imagine a small square canvas lined swimming pool} that the tankers can dump into. Several departments {mutual aid agreement} will haul water to a fire and dump it in the tank while a pumper will supply several lines or fill brush trucks from that drop tank. The supply tankers have huge dump valves {and chutes} on the backends that can unload the tanker into the collapsable tank, in a minute or less!
