Bill,
Several options to horn. 1. (best) bury a loop in front of the gate , approx 30 ft. before if possible.(less time waiting for gate to open)2.Bury a magnetic motion detector (Cartell etc.)a reasonable distance from gate (same reason). 3. Install photo beam detectors near the gate to have the gate open when the beam is broken. This has its obvious drawbacks.
I do not know of a horn operated switch out there .
