I guess you don't read the articles are pay attention. Ford, even with all the problems the 6.0 has had, still sells 2 Fords to every Chevy and Dodge. Half the pickups on the road are Fords. Lets come back in a year and see how the Duramax folks feel when the aluminum heads have 75,000 miles on em. Even if the motor does turn out to be ok (it will be the first for GM) it is still wrapped in a chevy with all the squeaks and rattles to go along with it.
