1963 Ford 2000 Blue Smoke any remedies?

Hey Guys,
How bad is bad my Ford 4 cyl gas burner is putting some blue smoke out the back. Where will the line be drawn where I should overhaul my baby.
Is there any remedies to slow this process down? Thank you Very Much Jeff
