Hydraulic hoses are steel braided core with a rubber outer covering. They rubber outer covering can be quite weather checked and still be good and safe to use. However you may be speaking about steel lines instead of hoses.

Since I'm not familiar with Kubota I really can't make a good replacement call.

You may wish to change oil more often. Some thoughts are that condensation will form in an engine whether used or not, and therefore need changed whether in use or not. Your decision.
