Kirk: I do remember 504 having Cat II, but I do forget the type of setup. My 656 had the telescoping type end and were quite easy to change the end section of the lower link. Does your 504 have that? I suspect early 504 were solid and later models were telescoping end, but don't remember for sure. You can buy complete weld on ends for these, if you don't have replacable ends.
