MM made some of the best engines and tractors of
their era. They were long stroke slow turners that
led to long life. The LPG models because of the
clean burning fuel last hours and hours with good
maintance. Just because a company went out of
business or merged doesn't mean their products
were not superior. Clearly a Pierce-Arrow or a
Packard were superior to a Ford or Chevrolet. As
to the U-302, it was a well made tractor in the
50-55 hp range. Came with an Ampli-Torc trans to
give 10 speeds for multi-use. Should be able to
find most any part, but it won't be as easy as
getting parts for a more common tractor.
