Rich: Of the 16 tractors I farmed with in my career all the way from a Farmall Super A to a 1066, and I did have a 560D and a 656D. The most economical horse power I ever had on my farm, were the 560 and 656. Repairs were almost nil under 10,000 hours and they would run a 9' haybine or baler with thrower on one Canadian gallon of diesel fuel per hour. I am just speaking for IH models as I am sure other makes had their good ones also. I think some of the 4 cylinder Deere's and Ford's from the same era were quite good also.
