What is AMAZING to me is that the internal combustion engine was invented in the late 1800's and nobody has come up with something that is better ??? Oil companies--Auto manufacturers--and the Goverment of this country, and other countries, are all BUDDIES. What happened to "CAFE" (combined automotive fuel effeciency) that ALL Manufacturers were supposed to meet???? What adout the Truckers and Farmers strike in the 70's--If we had backed them, as they requested, would we be better off???? If I remember correctly, they just asked us to miss work for ONE day. Now we have no weapon !!!!
