I have to agree with T-Bone that there are companies that will rip you off. However, I think we all have to agree that there are crocks out there that mis-represent and sell old iron. I've dealt with a few, but I won't share that information on this forum and any other. I'll ask the person inquiring to e-mail me and I will share my experiences directly.
