Without more information, it's hard to pin-point this, but it sounds to me as if your system is simply low on oil. Check the oil level. During installation of a new pump, it's very easy to get the wrong end of the pump suction pipe inserted into the pump body. This will cause cavitition--no oil pick up from the sump. Did you check the condition of the suction pipe's rubber seal ring? If this is bad, cavitation will result. Are your remote spool valves selected for two-way operation?
