There are two types of drills, force feed and double run. John Deere is force feed and most grass seeders on drills are force feed. FF drills have one seed rotor per row. Double run drills have two rotors per row. One rotor is for course grain and one is for small grains. Oliver drills were double run. Since you say yours has "two settings", I'm guessing it is a double run. If you can determine your type of drill, the settings from another brand of drill, of the same type, will be close enough to get you started. I've never found book settings to be very accurate. As for books or information check with your Agco dealer or try the Oliver Co-op board. Good Luck.
