Should be what they are saying is the tractor hydraulics (3 point) will work with the pto engaged or disengaged or clutch pedal depressed or not depressed. Tractors such as the Ford 8N will have to have the pto engaged and the clutch pedal not depressed for the hydraulics to work. Simply put, the pto has to be rotating for the hydraulics to work. Live hydraulics will operate regardless of pto. The two remotes are quick couple hydraulics, either mid mounted (for front end loaders) on the side of the tractor or rear mounted to operate hydraulic cylinders or motors on implements such as raising the tailgate of a round baler, running a hydraulic operated hay rake and such. I would think they are talking about rear mounted remotes. Hope this helps.
