Too big, yes, but that really doesnt hurt anything except it takes more fuel and and can increase the scope of the breakdown. I used a 2090 Case (105 hp) for several years doing what you describe. Finally was able to switch over to 86 hp Fords but it did fine. Main thing I noticed was it cut my repair bills by 10-15% (and my discmowers last longer) and cut my fuel bill in half (there were weeks with the 2090 that I would have to get my tank (300 gallons) filled twice.
