confused on the model 820 vs the 800 on emblem

What is up with the serial no. and the model no.? I have a 800 ford that says model 820 on the front fender.(hood) I have a sherman backhoe, and a midindustry (wagner?) loader on front. I thought it was a 1955 ford 800 .
what am i missing? or do I have more than I thought?
