Thanks for the input....this 'ole boy starts easy, but the minute I put a load on it, or try to accelerate, even sitting still, it starts to sputter & cough. I can idle around with it, but a slight incline & thats it! I've rebuilt the carb three times, & still have the problem. I'm about ready to deep six the carb & make an adaptor for a car carb with cable control. This is a heavy duty tractor, & should have plenty of power....it's driving me nuts!
