3010 muffler

I have a 3010 gas row-crop tractor. My dad has just got a chrome stack off a semi to put on it so, it will match other John Deeres. When we got the tractor back in 1994, it had the extention on the muffler. Well when it came to our house it wouln't fit in the garage so, we sawed off the extention. Now, my question, would the guts of the muffler fit in the stack and, not blow our ears out? It is a four foot stack.
