Hello I have a customer who purchased a 1951 Avery model R serial# R4217. As I understand Minneapolis-Moline purchased the Avery company in 1951. How can one determine if this tractor is an Avery (with Avery decals) or an MM (with Avery-MM decals)? I ran into this on a 1925 Model T that I had that looked like a 26 but was really a 25 (this was determined by the manufacture year AND MONTH. Can I determine the month this Avery was made and then find out which month MM bought Avery (all of course in 1951) to find the answer to my question? Anybody with ideas? Thanks tlynn
