Joe, Which backhoe did you end up getting? I had the same choice to make and ended up with the 1973 Ford 3400 (complete). I love it - what a great piece of history & equipment. My kids run it every day (ages 14 & 16) and everyone who has been out to my place has dug up at least one stump apiece. That says a lot for a piece of equipment - that it can stand up to the test of ignorant operators after 30 years of dedicated service and still stay out of the shop. John_V
