If the seat on your 504 is like the one on my 656 and 86 Hydro with the rubber torsion springs I wouldn't trade it for all the seats in China. It will cost you some bucks but they can be rebuilt and you will have a good seat that will last a long time. i have had back surgery and these IH seats are the only ones I will even consider riding all day.
