I thought the same thing too. I was intially dissappointed, but after going to the open house at the local case-ih dealer, I was impressed. The Case-IH factory rep. did side by side comparision's to the kubota compacts- everything on the farmall is bigger... from the 3pt to the axles. And it's made in the US. Now, I just wish they would have made the Case-IH's JX series the "farmall" series instead. Those look like "real" tractors and are larger in size and HP. But I would only buy it if it was US made! I guess they will get what they want in the end, the target market was for small acreage compact tractors...I think I will stick with the older Farmalls, they look better!
