Good question. I have been on this site for about four years. I always have wanted a John Deere 2 cyd., but I never could justify it with only owning 1/2 acre. So I just hung out here listening to everyone talk about them and learning somethings.
1 and 1/2 years ago I ran across a guy that had several tractors and he pulled two of them (JD G and IH M). It was just about 4 weeks later that I bought my 49 JD A. Now I have a tractor and I have a very good friend in this guy that I met.
I love the H&^% out of it. the car sets outside and the A sets inside year round. In the summer I pull. In the winter I tear it down and tinker.
