Sounds like a good truck if you take the bed off for about $4000. Take the empty weight of that truck/bed combination,probably 9000-9500#. Truck has a MFG's gross weight rating of 10,500. Time you fill it with fuel,put a few chains and binders on it and get in to drive it,you can carry about 150# legally.The scale guys go by the manufacturers gvw,not what you have it tagged for. The days of 1 ton rollbacks and 1 ton ramp trucks are going the way of the dinosaurs,time a bed is on it they are so close to the max on GVW they are worthless .
