Kosch manufacturing Co. steering assist

Hello, I recently bought a C Allis for parts. The thing that caught my eye was the steering wheel. The hub is about 4 inches in diameter and says that it was manufactured by Kosch manufacturing I think in Kansas. It says that it is a steering assist. Does anyone know anything about the wheel or the company? I think it is a planetary reduction gear in the hub to give a mechanical advantage to your steering effort. Thanks
