I took a look at them because my contract with my current provider is due to expire shortly. The claim of “up to 5 times faster” is an attention getter, but as they say, the devil is in the details. If they have the technology to speed things up as they claim, why aren’t all the other dial up providers using it to better compete with the real high speed providers? The one single thing that totally turned me away is the @#%* they call “customer service”. There, in the fine print, you’ll find it costs $1.95 / minute for tech support. Have you ever owned a system that you NEVER needed any assistance with? 10 minutes a month (and I know most will not need tech support each month) along with the initial monthly cost will get you into the DSL price range. All I got were automated e mail responses that were pretty well useless. No thanks, they can keep it all.
