I have a Woods 1050. It's a wonderful machine. I use it on a John Deere 4030. Digs in hard ground with no problems. It will dig 10 and a half feet deep. It uses a pto operated pump. The hoe doesn't jerk the 10,000 pound tractor very much. I used it to put in a 1000 gallon concrete septic tank and the drain fields for it last summer. Way, way better than a shovel!
