Yes it sounds like we are talking about the same thing. They would be suitable for a deep water well also. They were used on real shallow oil wells years ago though I don't know if any are still used in the oil fields. Yes they are just like the big oil well pumping units but are only a couple feet approx tall. If you find out anything. let me know or e-mail me. Thanks sir. R Wyler
