Yup, and if it was in an8N it would have 12 forward speeds. Ford dealers would install these aux trannys for there customers when they bought the tractors new. If you buy a copy of FO4 I&T manual from this site or other place then you will have info for that trans also. I believe you can also purchase the tag for the steering wheel that shows your pto speeds in over or under. This will affect pto speed, slower in under , faster in over. Good find, nice tractor, glad to hear you are using it! Stumpy '46 2N, still only 3 speeds :)
