I remember the huge full-size Neon Ford tractor sign at Pierce Tractor Co. in Spartanburg, SC. It was on top of the building. the neon tubes were made so it appeared the rear wheels turned, & a bottom plow moved up & down. It was a quite a sight to see !!!I have heard that it won some awards for advertising signs. I think it was taken down in the late 60's. A friend inquired as to where sign went, they think it must have been hauled to a dump..... I sure would love to have it now. Pierce Tractor later became Jones Tractor. A few years ago, it was sold To Blanchard , they sell Cat Compact equipment there , but still have the New Holland line of tractors.
