I had sorta the opposite happen to me a couple years ago. Was awakened at dawn on a Saturday morning by a loud noise out front. Got up to investigate and discovered a large load (12 face cord or so) of slab wood and an empty dump truck sitting in the driveway. I managed to catch the driver before he took off.

Turned out the driver had delivered the load to the right house number but on the wrong street! He and his assistant then spent then spent a couple hours reloading the truck. They left me a half face cord or so of nice oak slabs for my "inconvenience".
