Plain vanilla econo tractor are being made by the big three to compete in the "cheapest price" market.
The Deere 5000'03, 5000'05, 6000'03,6000'15.
The electronics are required to operate injection system to meet gov't emmisions, regulations so get used to them.
The main problem is the average tinkerer has limited knowledge at best of electricity. It's considered by some to be nearly a black art.
And there are people for reasons unknown think twisting two wires together and a wrap of tape is an acceptable wire termination.
