I could talk all day on this subject. As an Ag Mech instructor for 23 years I feel qualified to reply. We teach all children of all abilities and both genders in the same class because that's the law. We have no choice in who or how many can be there. I teach metal working and tractor mechincs, small engines and concrete, carpentry and electrical. On a budget of $2000.00 for 60 -80 students per year. These students go onto college and some stay on the farm or enter the work force. I feel my students are very well prepared for the real world.If anyone would like to visit our program, please come on over, or any other Ag Dept. across this country. Mart from Pa.
