Hugh, Do you mean if someone sees that someone else keeps moving to the top of an item (cause they want it)they will just hit it for the heck of it to drive you up (like being the south end of a north bound donkey)? I only purchased from ebay once (new to the game) and I noticed that if I came right back on an item it mysteriously upped again. But If just sat and ran the clock out, the price only moved once. Course at the last minute I bought it at about 1/3 the cost of a new one and this thing (a winch) hadn't been used. Mark
