Hi Gang, I'm working on a 5900 and can't seem to find any hyd. filters. I tried reading the posts here last night and after going through about 1400 of them, I thought I had it figured out. I was led to look for an oval plate on the right side of the body and the filter would be under it. Well, no plate and nothing anywhere that even resembles it. Only thing I saw was the clutch adjustment cover. I've worked around heavy equipment most of my life, but am fairly new to tractors. We have four and I haven't had any trouble finding everything on any of the others, but this one has me stumped. Any help here would be appreciated. Posted this same message on the Ford board, but figured I'm doubling my input chances this way. Seems the 5900 is not all that common. Thanks in advance, Ron (Wanna-be-farmer)
