4650 = 165 hp to the 190 hp of the 4850. The 4650 was available with Quad-Range or Powershift trannies, while the 4850 is Powershift-only. Same size engine - 6466 with aftercooler. Identical in size and most internal components, but the 4850 has stouter final drives. Same cabs. 42s fit with ease, and I think I've even seen some with 46s on them, but I can't say for sure. I believe the 4850 also has more hitch lift capacity. All other things being equal, a 4850 will probably be worth $3000 or $4000 more than a 4650. There's really no hard and fast rules on value, though. I'm sure there's been 4650s sell for more than comparable 4850s. All depends on the buyer and seller.
