Tune up on Lincoln welder

I was asked to do a tune up on a Continental engine on a Lincoln 200 welder. I can't believe that some people don't look after their equip. The air cleaner input hose was half plugged, the top of the metal filter element was covered with grime just like you would have if you had a small oil leak in very dusty conditions. In the bottom of the oil bath air cleaner bowl there was 3/4 inch of ice and below that 1/4 inch of crud. I had to plug the air intake of the filter and turn it upside down and fill with varsol to soften the crud. Still soaking. May not have to do a carb job, willl see how it runs when totally cleaned up.
