Just wondering what other engine you are comparing the yanmar to on fuel consumption. We have a 935 front cut John Deere mower with a yanmar diesel it is rated at 23 hp. We have a 2100 kubota that we run right beside it. The kubota is only suppose to be 21 horse but will run circles around the deere on only about half the fuel. The yanmar does start and run smother than the kubota. Just my thoughts. Jake
