If you want to creep along and the grass isn't very tall, it might work. Still would be hard on the tractor. My experience has been that 7 ft is enough mower for a 60 hp tractor, unless you are running a "finishing" mower. I run a 15 ft mower on a 120 hp tractor and at times I wish it was more like a 140 hp. We have an 80 hp MF 285 and I wouldn't want to use it on the 15 footer. Figure at least 90-95 hp for a 15 ft mower, although a JD 4010 which has a little lower hp will do a good job.
