Craftsman Snowblower, Replacement Engine

I am looking for a new or remanufactured engine for a Sears Dual Stage Snowblower, original model number 768884900, serial 41143768. This an 8HP Briggs & Stratton engine used on the 25 inch model. Short block would suffice, damage is to inner chamber, not peripheral parts, but I'd just as soon replace the entire unit.

Disappeared off Sears radar between last fall and today when I tried to order. Really, really tired of hand-shoveling! Does anyone know a possible OEM or after-market source? links?
