Conversion to 4 wheel drive

I have a Massey 50 that is a great tractor. Its only shortcoming is that I sometimes need 4WD for some of the work I do with it. Would it be possible to convert it? I look at the prices of new 4WD (or old ones that I am never sure of) and wonder if it could be done? And if so, is there a compatible 4WD front end? Is this an impractical idea because of transmission issues?
