Only real concern for me would be the transmission if it has the a4od plan on rebuild/replaceing it at some point. The deisel has to much torque for it. If that year still has the C6 in it it will last about forever, at least thats been my experience. Either way the guys are right keep the fluid and filter changed regulerly in either one.
