Or you can do like myself and another poster have done. Pick up a good used Class 7 or 8 tractor. Have all the pulling and braking power you need. Air ride seats for comfort. Won't ever have to worry bout which brand is better than the other. Got mine for $13K with 80,000 on a rebuild. 377 Pete with 400 Cat, 13 sp, double bunk sleeper, air ride suspension. At 27K#, goes up a 4.5% grade GAINING speed!!!!! Gets around 9 for milage (compares with some gassers). But the extra $27K buys many gallons of diesel. Might have to block off the radiator a little bit, kind of difficult to build enough heat for efficient operation.
